Heater Placement

I've been thinking of cleaning up the appearence of the back of my tank by moving the heater towards the middle where i have the tubes for my UGF. My Fluval 3 filter lives close to here as well. Is it ok to have the heater close to the filter, or should it be placed far away? Also, should be filter be placed in the middle, or is it ok to place it in the rear corner of the tank (same for the heater placed in the same corner as the filter ....)

My heater is right alongside my filter output so that the water flows down the heater. In my mind that will help circulate the heat...

as long as your heater is in a good circulating area it will be fine

putting a heater near any water flowing device (filter, pump, powerhead, ect.) will more evenly circulate the heat, so yes your heater there will be fine.
