Heater Options?

Next week I'm taking delivery of my new tank it is 6ftx3ftx2ft and I'm wondering what the best option would be to heat the tank?
On my 6ftx2ft tank I have 1 300w internal heater and then an ehiem 2180 which is 500w unfortunately the budget would not stretch to
Getting another 2180
What heaters would you suggest bearing in mind in a year I'll be looking at keeping a ray or two

If you keep fish that need artificial heating, you are looking at over 1000W of heat using almost any estimating tool. Around here that would mean at least 3 of the largest heaters to just keep up.
