Heater Died

my heater in tank died over night i have a spare a put it into the tank but the water droped from 24c to 18c over night i have the new one at 18c but how slowing do i take it back up to 24c?

You should just be able to turn the heater up to the temp you want, and the heater will warm it gradually enough for the fish to cope with.

keep an eye out for ich on your fish---my heater died and dropped the temp 10 degrees----I used a space heater temporarily to get it back to 76 degrees until I got a new heater 2 days later---ich developed shortly after--I lost half my stocking
