Heated Pond

Hello, my friend is making a heated pond that will be 8x12 feet. He wants to put the following fish in once everything is set up: 1 silver arrowana, 3 sailfin plecs, some tinfoil barbs and a fire eel. Will this work and if not what would work?

well your friend will need chicken wire over the top as arowana's and tinfoil barbs will most likely jump if startled or hunting for food etc it will also protect from predators such as herons who will happily spear your friends arowana.I would not suggest a fire eel as they are escape masters even if your friend had the chicken wire keep us updated
