i love my mutts, they're beautiful boys and i doubt i'd be able to match their personalities to anything, but i'd also like to have a purebred Betta, just for the sake of saying "Look at my pretty Betta, he's pedigreed ya'know" ^^
i will be saving my allowance for the next month, save this week when i'll be picking up an Oto and some Neons, to buy him his own little Aquaview Plus like Pierce has, the two will live 'side-by-side' on my dresser, but i'm trying to make all my tanks different. my community is set up like the heart of a riverbed, in the far back corner a rock will be place so the banked corner has a reason for being there. Pierce's tank is made to look tropical, colorful silk plants rest on a black background, lighted in an orange tint with an African Dwarf Frog and a multicolored-changing Betta. this new boys tank would be a driftwood tank; i'll be picking up a simple piece of fake driftwood, the kind with little plants attached to it, and perhaps a Cory pair to clean up after him.
the only thing is, i can't decide on a Betta. it's a close race between a Sun Salamander Delta, Orange Plakat, Melano Delta, or Yellow-Smudged Singletail. i need help, otherwise i might rush into a Betta-breeder and steal the lil buggers!
