hi all, just been browsing ebay, and found these PLANT LIVE MOSS BALL PLANTS FISH AQUARIUM item number 2397549568 (uk) never heard of them b4, any good, they're suppose to help algae problems! let me know if any of u have them?? might but some!!

I have heard of them and seen them on eBay. I am not entirely sure what makes them better at competing with algae than other less expensive plants.

I've seen them,java moss balls. I think they're ugly as heck.

well theres Java moss and then there are morimoto balls the latter are from japan and actualy an algea and as such will not survive any anti algea treatment. But as plants they are extreemly well behaved they prefer conditions that are beneficial to algea but will compete directly with the other algea in your tank and ar very attractive. They come from japan and to me look very asian astheticly.

I believe the Siamese Algae Eater is the standard solution for black hair algae problems.
