Ok i have a few tanks and my 10gl. has 1 dwarf gouramie and 2 cherry barbs( same sex/i think females) and some neons(i know a little overcrouded) BUT, i also have a 30gl. which is the same way...overcrowded i want to take the out of the 10gl. except the cherries and get another cherry, the pH is 7.5-7.6...and it is about 75 degrees...what should i do to get them to spawn? (i love these guys they are such characters, and have very noticebable personalties!)

and info will help! :D

I would have too know what is in your 30 gallon to twell you if this is a good idea ..... I would suggest geting another 10 (prefebly ATLEAST a 15) too breed them in... Too many ppl try too breed fish and dont seem to realise it isn't the easiest things some things should just not be done if you don't have the proper arangements for breeding the fish

lol well i re-decided i am getting another 10gl. with Zebra Danios and breeding those...but thanks for the effort...do u know about breeding danios? lol

thanks

Yea he has a great site on Danios ........ Actually if you are planning on breeding barbs I suppose you will need at least 3 5 or 6 I assume but danios can't be kept with these .... They are shoaling fish and are best kept in groups of atleast 5 or 6 with ALOt of swimming area ... 20 gallon would e nice for a community containing danios
