The lfs had a male betta in with some killie fish and they ate his fins down fairly short so I brought him home. I had him in a 1 gallon over night but this morning I divided my 5 gallon with 1 male already in it so I could get my new guy into heated/filtered water, I also added some melafix.
His fins look pretty good, no raw wounds or rot but I'm wondering if all the flaring the boys are doing will furthur damage my new guys fins?

You can add aquarium salt as well if you don't normally. Good on you for rescuing the poor guy!!
