He jumped out

I put one of my new bettas on top of the back of toilet. That's right! I'm running out of room. Anyway, I also keep bucket of water that I distill for waster changes and top offs on either side, so I woke this morning and looked to find him and he wasn't there. My first though was he jumped out. I looked down and there he was looking up at me like ''look what I did!!'' Apparently I forgot to get put a top on his ''room''. If I had put him anywhere else he probably would have jumped out and be dead. He's lucky that I put the top down after using the toilet. I wouldn't want to have to fish him out of there.

he's a lucky boy. i wonder y fish jump? i have my 10g female community and iv never had them jump from there. i know they can jump thogh, 2 of them have jumped from breeders b4. i guess they figure their better off where they are. i also had crabs that would climb out of the water wenever the water temp was to high or 2 low. its a mystery
