I should upload shots of my new kitchen betta... "Vasilok" is his name... Russian for "Cornflower" (hence his colour - and not the guy pictured on the left - that's Omelette)

my betta's name is frownyface and I named this other one little red I wish I could come up with names like you guys do great names I can tell you all really love your bettas.

I just figured bettas are siamese, thailand is where siam used to be so I looked up male thai names on google and picked one I liked. gotta love the internet...

I am bad at naming my angels....normally wouldn't, but my 3 yr old and 4 yr old twins are always asking me what their names are...so we came up with some together.

Cute story.....when my twins were about 2 1/2 one of my friends (19) moved in and had a betta...she had never named it and she asked the twins what they wanted to name it......they both quickly replied "ME".....so that became the bettas name,"ME" still alive and doing well and my friend is going off to New Jersey to join the Coast Guard in June I will miss her.......but I am very proud of her too!
