Just set up my Trogon 190 at the weekend. I bought it second hand. The new gravel got a good wash before it went in. I put volcanic rock in along with various plants, filled it with water and added tapsafe. It has one white tube and one uv tube. Turned on the pump/filter, heater and lights. Looking though the glass the water has a hazy/foggy blue look. Put the lights off and the water looks clear. My question is this. Is this a normal look when using an uv light or is this caused by something else being picked up by the uv light? The blueness of the tapsafe perhaps? If this is normal I think I will change the uv for white, as I would prefer the water to look clear. Thank you for any help anybody.

Tap safe made my water blue after a water change but it settles down after a while... if it is still blueish in a couple of days i would say its being caused by the light :good:
