I had wondered why I hadnt seen any eggs from my cory for a while, so a few days back I took out all my community fish for fear of them being munchers, so its just cory's in a big 4ft tank.
This morning I had to get up with the baby at 3am & while I sat cuddling him I looked in the tank & there were eggs everywhere, all over the plants, the glass, the filter, must have been 60+ in there.
I didnt have the energy to start removing eggs at that time, so I went to bed, thinking with just the cory's in there, most of the eggs would survive.
Boy was I wrong! I got up at 6 & every single egg had gone, naughty corydora's sulk.
Lesson learnt, when I see eggs, I have to remove them asap. No breakfast for them today, their tummies must be full!
