having a moan

I went shopping today and i decided to have a look in wheelhouse i looked in there fish section and i was heart broken there was 4 fish in there that i could see the water was murky and horrible and the fish looked miserable no filter there was a sponge floating in it but that was about it so i came home not feeling very happy and had a moan to the other half and we are going back tomorrw and having words with the manager It's obvious that know one cares the way they are being kept......it gets me so angry

Is "wheelhouse" a fish shop? I used to work in Staines and thought I knew all the local places but I don't recognise the name.

No they don't sell fish.... this was just for display. thats why i am so ticked off all the people that work there and none have the common sense to realise murky water is not healthy

Perhaps the display has served its purpose and now they are concerned with other things. For example, it might have been part of a summertime theme, but now that it's fall.......

If that's the case, they may be happy to let you adopt them so they can throw the thing out. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
