I have a 300 litre tank and am wanting a sufficient amount of bottom dwellers, but do not know whether I have room for others, I presume that I do as it looks very sparse at present?

Anyhow, the bottom dwellers I currently have are 4 bristlenose (3 medium size, 1 large male), 8-9 khuli loach and 8 very small cory julii. Ideally I would like to add further corys (different species).

So in brief, do I have room for more and if so roughly how many average size corys and which corys would you recommend?

Thank you.

what else is in the tank? or is it just full of bottom feeders?

No, I have 6 medium size red line torpedo barbs, 6 small keyhole cichlids, 6 bolivian rams, 4 small koi swordtails and 4 guppies.
it doesnt matter whether the fish are small or medium sized its all about their adult size! im not sure about the max size of the keyholes or barbs although i think they get big... looking at your stock it comprises of -
6 torpedo barbs - 6 inches = 36
6 keyhole - 5 " = 30
6 bolivian rams - 3 " = 18
4 koi swordtails - 4.5 " = 18
4 guppies - 2 " = 8
4 bn plecs - 6 " = 24
9 khuli loach - 4 " = 36
8 corys - 2.5 " = 20

is this right? if so you have 190 inches of adult fish unless my maths are wrong.... in a 66 uk gallon tank! going by the 1 inch per gallon rule you are already massivley overstocked already  people say khuli loaches dont have a ,assive effect on the bio load but even with these totally taken out youe still overstocked mate.......

Thank you for your input - will certainly take your advice on board and whittle the numbers down somewhat. :good:
