anyone ever have probs with plecos not looking after eggs? i put a couple of female plecos in with my male last week and the next day looked into my tank to see the male fanning a cluster of around 60 eggs inside a black plastic tube i had put into the tank. well outside it there was another 3 clusters of eggs so i gently pushed them back into the tube but he threw them out..i did this about 4 or 5 times and he kept throwing the eggs out but continued to fan the one batch...i then decided to put them into a breeding trap with an airstone. a day later some of them turned white and fungused so i syphoned them out using a turkey baster and put in one of my shrimps to keep the other eggs clean. after a couple of days now and i have a few wrigglers...pics below
