Has Anyone Owned A Lada

i have owned some cars in my time
but it funny always seemed to the most
fun out of the ones that people
said they a rubbish cars i have
had 2 ladas and 3 skodas and many
other cars but its funny i always
think of the fun times i had when
i had my ladas and skodas


had a lada that did 120 mph
and a skoda that did 125 mph


and they never failed to start in cold weather

don't i enjoyed these cars

I think my parents had a beige Lada in a past life.
Ladas are made for cold weather!

Ladas were a bit before my time but I remember taking the mick out of both Ladas and Skodas when I was little. Some of the new Skodas look pretty nice but it's the name 'Skoda' that would totally put me off owning one.

i remember this from one of the skoda ads
it said as fast as a gti and handles like a Porsche
i read this and laughed till i got one i was very
impressed.


that's because now they are owned by VW
and it is basically and golf or passat
or polo or one of them

Same as Fiats, they had a bad name, some of the most reliable cars i've ever seen are fiats and skoda's.

i also had a fiat 130 131 and 132 the 132 was a 155bhp and
that was in the eighties 250lb forest springs and bilsteins
all round stainless steel large bore exhaust and twin 48 Weber
side draft carbs and LSD [ limited slip diff ] it took some catching

the 131's used to be called RS eaters

and the 130 was supposedly own by dusty springfield
never checked it out

i knew the lad who got it off me
but he sold it on again then i lost
were it went after that same as it was a cracking
