Has anybody used metal halide before

Im useing a 250 watt 65k MH over my 54 gallon corner bow front right now. Do you guys think this is ok or should i switch to florescent?

Looks real good with MH.

you would be best keeping the halide. just keep an eye on the temperature because they do get hot and can overheat the tank. one more thing, should that be 6500K

is it marine or freshwater?

the 6500K is on my fresh water.

Ive got a little more on the reef tank.
