Has Anybody Kept A Mbu Puffer?

I find it hard to beleive that anybody could keep a puffer that gets as big as these do.
was just wondering if anybody has actually managed to keep one and i'm very interested in what size tank you had to have!

I know may people who have them at size sizes. Someone i know has a 26" specimin in an 8ft tank

most people cant keep a puffer that gets this big thats why they mostly all die before even becoming mature
i think 1000g is recommended for one adult fish

1000g thats one monster of a tank!
Bet its great to keep a mbu tho! But they must eat a hell of a lot!

I know someone who kept a Mbu for years until it died of unknown causes. He actually had an article published in PFK.

i also know a few good fishkeepers that have lost mbu,s for no apparent reason
they get to 2ft and seem to lose the will to live
they dont do well in captivity
