Harlequin Rasboras

I think I could accomodate a group of 5 fish. Would Harlequins be happy as I have read they like to be in larger numbers. Whilst this may be ideal, would 5 be OK?

I used to have 6 and they were great. But then i had an ammonia problem and 5 died. Now i have one swimming around on its own and it seems ok.

I agree with the above, although five will be fine.

I had one for a year (he somehow arrived in a bag of other fish) and was fine. After realizing he was a shoaler (after a year! ) i got 5 more and then he was really fine. I had 6 'cos my OCD wouldn't let me have an odd number shoal

However, 5 would be ok but don't see why 6 would be a problem unless of course you are sticking to the 1" to a gallon rule in which case get 6!

I dont see a problem 5 or 6, but they look cool in shoals of 12+!
