I read elsewhere about a constipated Harlequin, and realised that I've never seen my harlequins poo! (Compared to the guppies I had which poo'd more than I did) And now perhaps this explains why one of them is getting quite a "belly" on him!
The fish were added to a partially cycled tank, though the ammonia levels are decreasing now, at about 0.25ppm. Nitrites are zero according to my tester, and nitrates are at about 30-40ppm.
Is a big bellied harlequin normal?? He swims perfectly normally - darts about with the others, eats normally etc.
