Wow, swallowed whole or attacked repeatedly while it then died from?

What size were the Rasbora and cichlid respectively?

Got a good bashing on the side - had a large open sore which seemed for a couple of days to be healing then went downhill, fish was gasping for couple of days but still eating etc. then died overnight.

Harlequins are large, robust adults. Angelfish is about 5/6cm diameter body, so only adolescent. Had just started challenging other large angelfish for dominance and then started taking hissy fits at the other fish too.

It's now in the tank with silver dollars. That'll teach the wee @rse.

I have 20 too and they are great to watch. Either all sticking together in one corner or zooming from one side to the other of the tank for ages.

They are great fish. Sadly, I've seen man made "improvements" like all black jobbies. What a waste of effort.

I love my 20 espeis rasboras which I'm pretty sure are a close relative :) they act the same though. They play "follow the leader" lol

>>> I'm pretty sure are a close relative

Indeed, espei and heteromorpha, along with hengeli and somphongsi are now reclassified in a seperate genus, Trigonostigma. All highly desirable species.
