Happy Medium Need

so i picked up my new ( second hand) juwel 300 this afternoon, very pleased, but it came with 18 fish, a few are cherry or rosy barbs im sure, but apparently they have all been living together for a year quite happily.. mostly " designer " goldfish

anyway tommorow i collect my oscar but have had to put these fish back in the tank for now and really need a temp they both my oscar and these will tolerate ( dont want him in abucket while it heats, but dont want to murder these either).... im taking these fish when i collect the O.

also the juwel filter had a heater in the filter box, not sure if it was meant to be in there or the guy put it in there to transport the tank

yep the heater is housed inside the filter so there is a constant flow over the heater.

ahh right, does it just hang on the side then i notice a little clip thing on it.. thanks for that
