Well, I was messing with my pond and...

Firstly,

While I was changing pond water I accidently flipped a Shiner on the ground. :S
I looked up to see him flipping and flopping like, well, a fish outta water,LOL.
He's okay though. :)

My fish are courting! The Shiners and the Carp!

Oh, it wont be long and we'll have babies again!
I also found the goldfish I thought we'd lost. :*) He was swimming happily in his algae pond.

Gotta start digging some more cheap-o ponds soon. Hehehehe.
Sorry for the ramble- just had to share.

:flex: Looking forward to spring myself. Winter up here is no fun, and I really
like getting outside and shrub gardening in spring and summer.

Lucky you!!

My mum and dad don't like fish in our pond cos they eat the frogspawn and tadpoles and we like our frogs

We had leeches last year too

Well Im kind of building up a picture of you crimsonstavo, its kind of colourful.

So do you have free reign in your garden, is it your parents or your house?

Hi crimsontsavo :)

Your home must be so wonderful! I would so love to have a pond and a garden!

That's the bad part of apartment living; not having much space outside. Well, not having a basement and an attic isn't very good either. Humm....there's really not much I can say in favor of them.

So, I'll be looking forward to reading your posts about yours. :D

Hehe,

We live on ten acres. Me, mum grams and gramps. I pretty much have free reign yeah.

I'm the spoiled girl child of the family.
Everytime I move away mum begs me back home.
She knows her daughter isnt too good on her own in the world.

Note- mums are very very very wise. You should always listen to them. :flex: Or they will get you.

Kind of a homestead/farmish old southern thing.
It's great.

It's nice cause most of the people around us have at least ten acres and leave it slightly wooded.
Our neighbours have some gorgeous horses right across the street.
This year he is expanding his pasture and gonna open a riding course/show. :D

We have the park that's walking distance from our place, complete with the canyon. :D

People around here pretty much leave you alone too- if you dont get in their business they wont mess with yours. Except the really jerky rednecks that is.

Sometimes when I look out my window I wanna cry. It's like, you didnt do anything to deserve this life, but here it is.
All a person can do is be greatful and try and help others I guess. :kana:

Check in the other photos section, I'll post a couple pics from last year.
Pardon the faceless woman-lol. That's my friend Ginger.
