Happy Clown Loach?

Hi, I got three clown loach a few weeks back and early this week came home and looked into my tank to find some of the inhabitants to be covered in white spot. so I rushed out to buy some treatment (protozin), which seems to have worke . Since then i have not seen much of my clown loach or coolie loach. the clowns seem to huddle up under a log and god only knows where the coolie loach get to.
is this 'happy' behaviour for loaches??

i'm not sure because my loaches rarely ever hide under my rock/cave thing. usually they spend their day playing in the plants and bubbles swimming around each other making that clicking noise. but you never know all fish are different!

unfortunatley something strange happened last weekend and all three clown loach died over a period of four days. i posted the question as to why but no rpelies yet.
the water was fine and there was'nt any sign of disease
