I finally read enough to realize that Dennis the Beta was not housed properly in the cute big brandy sniffer with the amber colored marbles. Well it looked good sitting on the county but Dennis certainly wasnt happy.
He is now housed in a 2 gal tank with a proper filter, a heater, and an air stone. Now I realize the Dennis is a top breather that doesnt require the air stone but he sure is having a high ole time hanging out in the current it generates. He has a choice here. He now even has a piece of hand made porcelain pottery to hide in but he seems to be quite over joyed at playing in the current. He is a funny lil boy. It's a great relief to see him having a good time.
