Hang On, My Half Moon Has Turned Into A Ct!

Hi all,
I recently posted pics of my new Half moon. Here's one to prove he is/was a half moon.



Well, yesterday he was a half moon, today he has turned into a Crown Tail. In the am he had one split in his back fin. Now his end fin has all split, some if it just a short way, but quite a few all the way like a CT. I haven't had a chance to get some bettafix yet. Has anyone had this happen before? Could this heal back into a half moon, or is he a CT for life now? What the heck is going on?

I had that problem with my old VT but he healed wonderfully with some help from a bit of melafix
