Hand sanitizer

I just got a moss ball for my tank and when I got out of the pet store and into the car I had washed my hands with hand sanitizer. I washed my hands really well with soap and water when I got home and I placed the moss ball in my 29 gallon tank. I just realized that I had used hand sanitizer earlier though and I'm freaking out now. Are my fish all going to get sick now? I washed my hands with soap and water after using hand sanitizer but will my fish still get affected?

If you’ve washed and rinsed your hands and arms well before immersing into tank water, you should be fine.

Keep an eye on your livestock, if you see anything amiss at all, do a big water change, much as possible.
