Hand Feeding Bettas?

So today was treat day for Occo, he got some frozen bloodworms for dinner. He really likes them, he usally has 4 or 5. He's a growing lad.

And I had an idea. I dangled one of the bloodworms in the water and still holding on to it, he ate it.

I've only had him a few days and I love him so much

Anyone else handfed their betta?

It's lots of fun, you can also hold it further from the water, and Occo will start jumping for it. Mine jumps quite high already.
But my females can jump a lot higher than my male, Astro.

I give my bettas pellets, and I feed them individually, but I made them jump after it, and after they jumped, then they can get it, now if I only hold my hand above the water they jump, coz they think they gonna get food

I'm not the only one! lol My parents think I'm mad to hand feed my fish but I think its cute. My Oranda are just pigs and don't care how they get food but when my betta did it...*minor victory dance*

All I have to do now if persuade the tetras to let me feed them...
