Hand-fed Some Cucumber!

I held a chunk of cucumber in the tank tonight and Nessie came and got on it and started rasping away at it, it was an amazing feeling! she is about 11 inches long now, big fish, and it was so cool to support all her weight while she was eating

I could have stood there all night holding it for her, but Malc came and chased her off after about 5 minutes so he could have some. I put the cuke in then and let them have at it, but it was real neat.

I hand feed the fish a lot with flakes and stuff, but this was the first time one of the big guys has come and allowed themselves to be "held" whikle feeding.

Malc will poke his nose out of the water and let you stroke it sometimes. weirdo.

Thats really cool. My Betta eats off my fingers if I let him but I never thought to try with any other fish. I might have a go and see if a pleco will eat out of my hand. I can't believe your plec lets you stroke his nose thats crazy.
