Hi Guys,
For future reference " Do Hammer, Frogspawn and corals of that ilk pose a problem to snails, hermits and shrimp". I know that they send out sweeper tenticles and can kill other coral via this method, I was just wondering if they will be a problem to my cleanup crew.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I have a cleaner shrimp, hermits and snails in my tank with a hammer, frogspawn and torch and have had no problems at all :good:

So they should be OK
(Torch was the other one I couldn't think of)
Many thanks Connor.

nope, when i feed my bubble coral (whos got thick sticky tentacles) my cleaner trys to grab a bite, but gets stung, when it get stung it is smart enough to not throw itself onto the coral for food, it normally backs off and trys another spot, with the same results. But there is no lasting damage IME. So i would say its perfectly safe/

Thanks also to Musho...

Some LPS can and do kill inverts, but as far as I am aware Euphyllia are unlikely to. Sweeper tentacles are mostly for warfare anyways.
