Half Moon (White) Blotches

Firstly this is my first post and first time on here so thanks for having me on here.
Great community by the looks of it...
My betta has produced these bltchy marking on one side of his body.
Ive taken the rocks out of the tank incase it was them scapping him.
 
heres the photo , what does it look like to you guys?
what would you do at this point?


The forum uploader wouldnt let me post the photo its apparantaly to big, only taken on iphone so doesnt look like ill be able to show him for advice. POOR.....

Can you tell us:
How long you have had your Betta?
What colour is he?
How long have these markings been appearing?
Can you describe the markings, i.e. what colour are they, are they fluffy etc?
Does he dash or rub on that side at all?
What size is his tank?
Is there anything else in with him?
Has anything been recently added to the tank e.g. new fish or plants etc?
 
Can you add your location into your profile as it assists with advising you.  Some countries have different medications, food etc.
 
You can register for Photobucket and put the image of him on there, or if you can get someone with a digital camera to take a picture and then reduce its size it will load.
