Half dead plants

Hey guys
Some of my plants are not doing well due to poor lighting... My question is, if i
have half dead plants in the tank should i cut the dieing parts off and pull out the whole plant or let it be and see if it live?

If it was my tank and my plants were dying, i would trim the dying parts off and see how that goes, then if needs be pull the plants out and start fresh.

Can dead plants cause any harm in the tank???

dead plants will release ammonia there part will melt into water. I too have some plnats that r dead but now I remove them to my other tank with stronger light. I cut off the part which turn kind of brownish color and put the healthy part in to my substrate. It works for me. The plants start to grow rot and with daily maintain they r very healthy instead.
