I just got 4 African dwarf frogs, a divider, and an opaque veiltail betta (whipcream). I divided my ten in half with 2 cories, 2 smaller adfs, and my opaque in one side, and the larger adfs with a male betta in the other. The cories are temporary.My brother also got his first betta, Feisty, who bit him when he stuck his finger in the cup 
Being a 9 year old he laughed and said "cool!". He's just a veiltail with the same coloration as the betta in my avatar. Petco aint too bad, you just have to look for the healthiest fish. Out of 4 white bettas, my opaque was the healthiest, and purest colored (no dark blotches)Of couse there was a tank with cichlids in which all had damaged or missing eyes except one 
, but, It happens with cichlids.
