Ha, so silly, forgetful me, I left the lid off of the cup that Twinks was floating in the spawn tank (I was just trying to stimulate her to drop eggs because she was getting so large.)
Now Twinks has never jumped other than for bloodworms. I have been gone and I come in yesterday and there she is, swimming side by side to Mr. Flamenco dancer!

I didn't want them to spawn, but I was like Hey, they wanted it. So I leave her in there. Well, no nips, no eggs, she's still bulging, no breeding stripes, no stress stripes, no flaring, no bubbling (anymore). They are just "hanging out." It's the oddest thing I've ever seen. THey even lay on the leaves of their plant together.
I thought this was odd behavior, but I'm not trusting this front for a second. Twinks is coming out of there before any damage is done. But still, how wierd!
