Hagen Power Glo Tubes

Hi guys!

I have bought 1 x 54W T5 Hagen Power Glo Tube and 1 x 54W T5 Hagen Actinic Marine Tube.

The Power Glo tube is rated at 18,000K and is bright as hell!!! Is this type of tube ok for a FOWLR setup? as I've never used T5 before so I aint used to the brightness!! 8)

You should be fine! it doesn't really matter with FOWLR so long as it isn't so bright it creates loads of algae. What size it the tank it's going over?

Its going over a 4ft tank. The depth of the water will be 18".

It prob seems bright because the current tube on the tank is a 40W T8 which seems very dim in comparison.
