Well this morning after I woke up, and came out to check on my reef tank as I always do every morning.. I noticed my clown fish was missing. Come to find out, my Misbar Clown took her own life by jumping out of my tank. Found her behind the tank on the floor. This is not the first time. Her mate, jumped about 7 months ago. Anyone have a good way to prevent this? I only have about 2 inches of open space on the back of my tank. Apparently enough room for them to take the dive.

Luckily for me my buddy next door raises clown fish, so I'm going to pick up 2 babies this afternoon, about the size of a quarter each. But the real question is, is there a way to keep them from taking the fatal plunge to the floor? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Eggcrate, i use it, it still alows light to get through, and also still allows evaporation. It comes off when im in, and goes on when im out or at night (when my triggers get very jumpy)

Way cool, thank you very much. Any idea where I can get this over here in the states?

Make sure you cover the top.
I have the top covered with glass.. it's just there is about 2 inches on the back side where there isn't any glass.
