H.o.t. Magnum?

I was planning on buying one of these filters and was wondering if anyone has one and what the pro's and con's of the filter are? I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 AC filters now and would like to upgrade. Or maybe this wouldn't be an upgrade, just not sure.
