Remember this thread? Well the big flowerhorn I'm planning to keep finally got to be moved to the 20 gallon long today and it was time for round II! Gypsy wasn't so bold with him though, that sucker isn't scared of anything and would charge her!
He put up quite a struggle when I moved him today too, as you can tell by the wet carpet. That tank is only temp until I find a good cheap 55+ gallon for him so it'll never have substrate (mainly used as a betta juvie growout,) but I'm going to get him some big rocks as decor so he'll have something to do besides battle the plastic plant all day.

"Woah... who's that?! That's not a betta!!"

"Are you friendly?"

"No sudden movements, buddy!!"
Check out that defensive posture

And here's the flowerhorn, still kinda stressed from the move... all the way to the other side of the room . I'm going to name him eventually, I swear.

Shameless, utterly shameless.

Hehe, very cute. Poor Gypsy, she doesn't have a chance.

I think "Bubba" would be a lovely name. I just look at him and see "Bubba."

She still doesn't like him. She looks at him almost every night, then glances up at me with this worried look like "Is he really safe to have around? Do we need to keep him?"
