Corleone
Fish Herder
Was just looking in my tank and I noticed my favorite peppered cory (long finned) was dead. No obvious sign of illness, but he's never been entirely himself since I got him six months ago.
He's had a bit of a "hump" on his back for a long time, which I've read is a sign of old age, and he hasn't kept his tall fin up for the last few months. No signs of illness as I said, and other fish are currently fine. Waiting on water tests right now, but I doubt there was a problem there.
Really a shame, though - I got five like him originally, they were breeders from a friend's project, so he'd had them a few years already. Very nice fish, always stood out from the other corys.
Edit: No water problems, so hopefully it was just his time. Still, I'll miss that guy - don't see long finned corys often.
