Hi I have two old guppies, the male one has had a bent tail for a long time, but today I noticed one of my old female guppy’s tail has also bent an arched, she was pregnant and quite big, but today it’s like she’s shrunk, I think she had had her fry an most eaten, but she looks really small now, and not as active as she was, why do the tails bend like this?

It appears to be more of the back than the tail itself. If it were a newer guppy, I’d suspect TB. However, with an older one it could just be age. I have a goldfish with a heaven tail and his back has bent some with age. Just like a lot of humans do. :)

I have had this happen with my guppies. Sometimes it's just bad breeding... they get inbred and inbred and inbred to get color variations and stuff. I'm not sure what other causes could be
