Guppy tail

Hi

In my tank i have 2 male guppies and 7 neons, water parameters are spot on but one guppy tail looks shreaded and not as full as it was a week ago when i got them

can any one help he is swimming round and eating as normal

You will need a finrot med and maybe do some salt baths.

cheers wilder i just nipped tothe fish store and the guy was really helpful, he sold me a treatment called finrot number 8. i have dissolved 5ml in warm water and poured evenly over the surface of the tank but one thing it doesnt say if i need to do this everyday

any one got any clues

Sounds like the interpet range, usually it tells you to redose on the 4th day or something.

just took another look at the leaflet and i does say wait 7 days, do a 30% change then re dose

Just make sure on the bottle instructions itself that you don't have to redose in 4 days or so,I have just read the leaflet but don't have a bottle of finrot.
