hi all one of my guppies has a clamped tail like its all stuck together i think people refer to it as "pin-tail"?

i remember my old betta was sick a while ago and this happened to his tails and i can not for the life of me remember what was wrong with him

i have tested water quality and it is fine, could it be something like a parasite? Ich or something like that?

Is tank temperature good?

steady 25 degrees C
And water quality was checked with what type of kit? Liquid or strips? Post the stats here too for each measurement.

If all of them are fine, the guppy might have a disease or it's just old (if it has lived around 2-2.5 years)

used a API Freshwater Master Test Kit

pH - 7.2
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrite - Oppm
Nitrate - slight tint of orange but hardly enough to say its at 5ppm (test kit goes from 0ppm to 5ppm

the fish has been in there for about 2 months and it does not look that old but i dont know how long the store had it before hand

How big is it? Mine grew around 4cm, not sure exactly how big they really should get. You could probably tell its age by its size but not too accurate...

She could also have a disease, is she gasping at the surface? Does she have any white spots or is rubbing herself against objects? Are any fish bullying her?

i would say its only about 4cm long (mouth to start of tail)

its lying on the gravel most of the time then does swim around for 10-15 mins then just stops again.
is not showing any signs of white spots though the fish is a pretty pale color to start with so hard to spot.
it hasnt flicked up against any objects that i have seen although i came down stairs the other day and walked past the tank and im sure i seen it flick up against some wood but i only seen it the once and im not sure if thats what it actually did.
and no no bullying from other fish.

Mine rarely flick (usually after water changes), so if yours flicked only once it might not be a skin infection, but if you didn't watch her for longer she might have been scratching more.
I don't know if she'll be ok, as when mine died they sat down like that or at the top and then just flipped to the side and died.

well mine died yesterday, i dont know whats going on av lost 5 guppies in the past 1-2 months i dont have a clue whats going on with them, the water is fine tank is constantly cleaned

i have 3 more in there and 2 are baby fish.

im starting to wonder if the store i got them from is having problems with there stock or something like that they seem to be dying ever other week

If the store keeps dead fish with them or if the water in the shop is cloudy/unfiltered, maybe their gills got damaged, or they have gill flukes or something.
