I  balloons and all.....but the poor guppy...still looks like this, no babies...still acting ok.....but...........H U G E

I posted an explanation and pics here @ the aquarium pics forum...she wasn't this big last time she had babies.....

...I am trying to get the tanks moved around before company comes....and this is one that I have to move , but I don't want to stress out more if she is sick.

Thanks for your time!
:)

Nothing to worry about, unless you worry about more babies!! :hyper: :hyper: Congrats, from the pics I'd say she'll drop them anywhere in the next 3 days ;)

Y'all were right......I caught 27 babies....1 died....so I have 26, but I know the angel ate at least 1....maybe more...not sure.
I didn't know guppies had so many....

I thought the other 33 I have from last month had to be from both females....but I only saw her having them.....who knows....she was as big as a bus....I just knew she was going to pop.....when she had them, she would put out 2,3 and 4 at a time...it was cool, and of course I didn't get any video of it :( ...oh well maybe next time :D

By the way what plant is that in your pic? Is it HAIRGRASS?

Nice guppies!!!!

Thanks everyone........congrats on your new fry too bigfish!
Oh and I believe that is dwarf hairgrass.

Dolphin...how are ya!!!
I have missed everyone, and reading all the posts...I will pop in from time to time when I am taking a break!(shame on me)

Anyway,
haven't lost anymore angel fry......still 9 left, and they are now sharing quarters with 59 guppies!
Four of the angel fry are getting pretty big and are taking shape, and getting some color....but the others are so much smaller, do you find that happens often?

I am sure I will be popping in again!

Hi mama, "in three days" and its happens on the second :D . Glad you were around to catch the babies, its such a shame when they all get eaten

Hi Mama

Good to have you back.

In every batch there thends to be a few small fry. If they do not eat much in the first day or so, they tend to be small. With feeding live brine shrimp, I keep the number of small fry to a minimum. The small fry will never catch up, and will always be runts.
It is important to make sure that they do not miss any feeds in the first month or so, or the larer ones groth may be slowed.

You can always tell a runt angel fish by the eye size. A runt will have a larger eye compared to a good fish, of the same body size.
