Guppy or platy

Hi

I've had babies in my tank today 3 yellow which are deffo guppies but my 4th one looks totally different its abit bigger than the rest and really orange with a mottel black body and tail which i think is a platy but not totally sure, it's totally cute though!!!!

How can i tell for sure whether it's platy or guppy?

If it's a platy then it's my first brood whoooooo!!!!!!!

you will probably will have to wait for it to grow a little to see if it is a guppie or platy

i only have guppies and platies in my tank. i found another orange/black looking baby, hmmmm i do have a play the same colour in my tank but to my knowledge she wasnt pregnant.

Guppies when born are usually... clear to off whitish, I'd say all the babies you have so far are in fact platies

My gups are usually kind of grayish or maybe kind of clear when they are born. Dont know about platys (yet), just got a male yesterday

My 3 yellow ones are guppies coz they are quite tiny but if my orange and black ones are platies then im chuffed coz it's my first brood.
