I came back from school today to find one of my guppies missing, I found him under one of the rocks which seemed impossible to get under. I had no idea how long he'd been trapped and by the time I got there, he was weakly flapping on his side, his right fin was trapped underneath the rock. After I moved the rock, he started swimming up to the surface and floating there, trying to swim but it was clear he couldn't use his other fin at all and was extremely weak. I fed him some flakes but he was only a tiny bit better than before so I moved him to a small container where I redo the water every half an hour to make sure he doesn't get cold- I moved him because the other guppies were starting to nibble at him as he struggled to swim at the surface. It's been around four hours and he's become really dark coloured and doesn't move much, he weakly wiggles around and I'm worried he won't survive until morning! My father -who's been looking after fish for the last few decades- tells me it's unlikely I can do anything but I'd like to think there could be something to do that could help him! He's around four months old and was a very healthy guppy, all he is doing now is wiggling on his side on the bottom of the container!!
If anyone has anything that could help, this would be a good time as ever!
