My guppy has given birth to 2 fry and they are in the same tank with her. She doesn't seem to worried with them but I'm not sure if she has seen them or not. Do I keep them together? Should I buy a breeding cage to keep her in or do I put the fry in there?? What do I feed the fry? How long does it take for them to grow to a decent size so the other fish won't eat them?
Thanks!

I think they will be eaten if kept with the others. Don't put the old lady in a cage... But maybe the kids. They would grow faster in a tank of their own though. Feed them crushed flake food or some kind of brine shrimp. After a few months they will be in shape to get placed back with the others I think.

Definately put them in another tank or a guppy breeder ($4-$8). Other fish will eat the fry, as will the mother. When it doubles in size it is ready to be let out with the other fish.
