Hey,
I have guppy fry, around 6 I think and they are getting bigger by the week and i didn't separate them from the rest of my tank... i decided when they were born to let then live naturally and see how things go....
They all look fine and the other fish don't seem bothered.. i have 5 neon tetras, 2 guppys, 2 mollies and 4 flame tetras. In a very big tank.
But when they were born I asked if they would live and everyone said they had no chance... if they are not separated. But mine are doing fine...
So from my test I suggest if you have lots of space in your tank not to separate them unless you want them all to survive... but if it is quite a full tank then be a bit more aware..
I will keep you updated about how my fish do and see if my idea is right. B)
I would like to hear from anyone with more advice.
Thanks.
