A fully cycled planted 100L tank with:
50+ cherry shrimp
1 betta
8 male guppies (I have way too many guppies as the first four female guppies I got actually had a male (in the tank at store) so from that I’ve now got too many guppies to count so when I could tell the males I’ve put them in a separate tank so putting females in is not an option as I don’t want even more fish)
One of the larger males has been harassed by the others and I’ve just noticed after days inspecting that his gonopodium isn’t there. Is this because of the fighting in the tank? They chase and nip each other but the two largest (one tuxedo mix and one snakeskin delta tail) focus on him, he’s the largest and has a tiger pattern. I would really appreciate your help working out what’s going on and what to do next. Thank you so much for your help.
