Not really I would check your water stats.

Nope, mine swim around all over the place (mostly the middle and upward).

Are yours gasping for air or trying to get air from the top of the water? What is your ammonia level?

all levels are fine they have always stayed at the top of the tank and one does seem to be gasping for air

I'd take this to the hospital section... guppies are generally mid-upper swimmers but hunkering down at the surface isn't good. Just give your water stats, tank size, symptoms, etc and hopefully we can put our heads together and sort it all out.

Just wondering did you get this issue with your Guppies resolved as i have just introduced
Guppies to my tank and they are doing the same all water checked, like your own are fine

Guppies are top minnows. They spend much of their time at or near the top of the water. Sometimes they venture lower in the tank but they always seem to return to the top or verynear it.
