Not weird at all.....
Also depends on how well fed your adults are.

Thanks i had a Metallic Blonde female too but she wasnt so clever during tank changeover & died, Got a fair few of her fry though in the other tanks

I have had the adults eat all the fry in the past but the adults ive kept hold of this time, Dont seem to be bothered by the fry at all, Even if they have eaten some its that few ive not noticed. I always remove fry to my 10G breeder but its growing out my 3 previous batches right now, So thought i would jist leave them alone

most guppies are fine with their fry and as I have mentioned some are not and can be very cannibalistic towards their fry. Once a guppy has had a brood of fry she will try to eat them and may have great success within 24-hours of them being born , after the first 24-hours the fry will have more strength and be stronger to get away and take cover in the plants. when you leave the fry to grow on with the adults, the adults will usually get used to tiny fish swimming about so when they have the next broods of fry they should leave most or all of them alone. and as you have said as long as the adults are feed well

Yes, I agree Fish48, Thats why i have left them in the main tank this time. She gives birth every month almost to the day without fail. But worried shes going to be worn out soon having all these kids ?

If the adults are well fed they won't look at the babies as food.

If the adults aren't stressed (in particular the females while giving birth), they will be less likely to eat the babies.
